Flying the Flag at Swansea Pride

Welcome to the West Glamorgan ‘Latest News’ space, where we share stories, updates and examples of good practice from across the region.

Here, we highlight the work happening through our partnerships with people, communities and organisations to improve health and social care services for the people of Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.

Swansea Pride – 17.05.25 🌈

We were thrilled to take part in Swansea Pride earlier this month, joining the celebrations with our colourful information stall and interactive activities. Our team had a brilliant time chatting with attendees, sharing information about our work, and learning from the inspiring stories and experiences people shared with us. The day was filled with energy, warmth, and a strong sense of community spirit.

As part of our engagement, we invited attendees to contribute to the ‘West Glamorgan Wellbeing Tree‘ – a creative and reflective activity that encouraged people to share examples of things that contribute to their emotional wellbeing. This was especially timely, as the event coincided with Mental Health Awareness Week 2025. The responses we received were thoughtful, heartfelt, and inspiring, highlighting the many ways people nurture their mental health and emotional resilience.

We also took the chance to promote some of the key Mental Health resources on offer in our region, including Sorted Supportedwww.sortedsupported.org.uk and tidyMindshttps://tidyminds.org.uk.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, take part in the activity, or simply have a chat. Your support and enthusiasm made the day even more special for us!
