Market Stability, Capital and Future Planning

This is a key area of the Transforming Complex Care Programme, to learn more about the programme click here.

Planning services and investment around population need

The programme supports regional planning by improving understanding of the care market, future demand and the type of services and accommodation people may need over time.

This includes the Market Stability Report, regional capital planning and the development of integrated health and care facilities where they support agreed priorities.

By using data, provider intelligence and population need information, we can make better decisions about investment and ensure future services are sustainable, accessible and aligned to local need.

Current priorities include:

  • Producing and using the Market Stability Report to understand demand, quality and future priorities.
  • Supporting capital developments that respond to population needs and service pressures.

Please see our Capital Funding page for more information on capital developments.
